Saving Accounts
Savings Account is most suitable for individuals to save money, earn higer interest and have access to their funds any time. Here are some more details about this product:
- Individuals / Societies / NGOs can open
- Accounts can be opened in the name of Minor above 12 years
- Accounts can be opened in the name of Minor below 12 years with guardian.
- No charges for opening of accounts / No Maintenance charges.
- No charges for deposit /cash withdrawal.
- Minimum balance Afs 1,000/USD 100/EURO 100/GBP 100
- Interest is payable quarterly at the end of each quarter March, June, September & December instead of crediting monthly
- No Cheque Book Facility. If want cheque book than open separate one current
- Account and link to Savings account (Auto Sweep facility).
- Linking of Savings Account in the name of minor not permitted
- Cheque Book available at nominal charges(Afs 250 / USD 5 for 20 /25 (in new
- cheque book) leaves)
- Cheque Collection facility available
- Salaried personnel and regular income groups accounts can be opened with ZERO
- balance provided the employer route the salary on regular basis and as per arrangement with the Bank
- Self withdrawal available without Cheque book also.
- The Scheme is suitable for all (except companies) with the facility to deposit and withdraw at any time and earn profit too.
- On savings accounts interest is payable on the minimum balance between 10th and Last day of the month.
- In savings, interest will be credited on the last day of the month.
- Interest is credited only if Interest payable is as under or above:

- Upto 10 withdrawal per calendar month allowed free of charge.
- Service charges exceeding 10 withdrawals in a calendar months – For each withdrawal : Afs 50 /USD 1
